This project took about 5 minutes to complete. I wanted to see what the painted windshield molding looked like so I took a shortcut. I used red 3M tape (the same type used for stripes). I bought a 36"x40" sheet for $10 at a local sign shop. The color match was perfect. I cut a samll strip 4" wide by 20" wide and peeled the backing. Placed it on the wimdow moldin and trimmed it to fit. If I decide to keep this mod, I will remove the tape and have it painted.
